We asked Brad Nathanson to share some of his inspiration with Spice4Life.
ON A PROFESSIONAL NOTE
My occupation is that of a Private Investigator
A normal day in my life begins around 7am when I attend to emails and my Brad Nathanson Investigations FaceBook page. At 9am I meet with my staff and discuss the various cases we are working on. The rest of the day is spent working on cases, seeing prospective clients and looking at products that may be used in the prevention of crime. Work day end when work day ends. I never know when my day is going to end. Sometimes I work through the night if I’m on a big case or following a strong lead.
The special interests in my area of business/expertise are catching “bad-guys” and making sure that they are punished.
What I love most about my field of interest is JUSTICE and my ability to deliver it.
Some of the defining moments in my career have been the arrest of the men who raped Jessica Foord, identifying the people who murdered Louw Van Der Merwe, Finding baby Isabella after she was abducted by her estranged Father, Body-guarding Oprah Whinfrey, providing security to the Proteas, removing Piet Van Zyl from the field after he attacked the referee during a rugby game between SA and New Zealand, Investigating the Lotter case (the children who murdered their parents) and helping to identify the men who murdered Brett Williams. The cases I am most proud of solving is finding the two men who raped Denise Killian after a rugby match.
YOU AS AN INDIVIDUAL
My family – I have two ex-wives and four children 12, 14, 18 and 20.
My hobbies and extra mural activities include cycling, gym, riding my Harley Hobbies and getting tattooed.
It is important for me that my personal time includes spending time talking with God, my girlfriend, my mentors and our dogs.

LIVING A LEGACY
My personal message to the world is have FAITH in all that you do. Believe in God and believe in yourself.
Mentorship is important to me because I still have much to learn and never want to stop learning.
I believe support/giving back to the community is important because It is the same community in which I reside therefore I need to look after my community.
AS AN AMBASSADOR FOR YOUR COUNTRY
If you were to visit my city, I would personally recommend that you spend a day at the beach. Spend a day at the Indian Market. Spend a day at Ushaka’s Waterworld.
SOME OPTIONAL QUESTIONS AND OTHER THOUGHTS
The best piece of advice I ever received was the tallest trees in the forest catch the most amount of wind (My Gran – Ouma Botha) – She taught me that standing tall comes with challenges but that these must be expected and prepared for.
The secret to my success is determination and courage. I fear no man.

My views on living a life of balance are that this is an essential part of your well-being and that life is not living without balance.
To make our world a better place, I believe the key ingredient would be to treat everybody the way you would want them to treat you.
